Welcome to the Roses Glassworks web site.
Welcome to our website. We hope you enjoy the
website, but encourage you to visit our actual studio and school.
There is no way to advertise all the excitement our students have
in starting a new project, or in finishing their latest masterpiece.
All
the glass colors are so vivid, the ideas take on a life of their
own, the laughter, the fun, all we are missing is you...
And
speaking of masterpieces, here is one Pam just completed.

Testimonial
from recent student Lucy:
G’day
Pam (Mitch, and the Roses Glasswork team), I just wanted to send a heartfelt
(and slightly over-the-top!) thank you for the most incredible two-day
stained glass beginners workshop. Truly, what an experience and a wonderful
introduction to Portland’s creative community. From the moment
I walked in and met with you Pam, I just knew what kind of teacher you’d
be…and I was spot on.
Your passion for the craft is completely infectious. The way you guided
us all so patiently and effortlessly made what could have felt intimidating
instead
feel really awesome and achievable. I’m still shocked that I walked away
having actually created something really beautiful without cutting any of my
fingers. I left feeling not only proud but genuinely inspired to keep going andI
would absolutely love to continue learning from you (and the team) spending more
time in yourcreative studio. Unfortunately, with two eager, athletic, social
kids and a husband who (quite understandably) would like a share of my weekends,
Saturday workshops might be a bit of a juggling act at the moment.
Should
there be any openings in your weekday classes- I would love to put
my hand up…in fact two hands up!! Thank you again for your
(and the teams) generosity, for introducing me to the ‘6 layer’ dip,
Sesame Donuts, all the jellybeans and for sharing such a special
craft so beautifully. All my Australian friends are very jealous
of what I’m making (and creating) with my new Portland ones!
Cheers,
Lucy
